In 2007 after spending nearly a decade as an accountant Sam was called to lead the church he had helped to plant many year earlier. Sam continues to live in a deprived neighbourhood in east Manchester where for many year he has devoted himself to serving the urban poor. In addition to this he works for The Message Trust as a regional director of the Eden Network helping to support and develop missional projects in some of the most disadvantaged communitities in Yorkshire. Sam has been married to Nicci for ten years.
